We have an immediate opening in our South Jordan, UT office for a Collection Specialist.
We seek candidates who are customer focused and highly organized. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, innovative, disciplined and skilled in planning and prioritizing. As an OOCL Collections Specialist, you must communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve collections issues in an efficient manner. This position requires a collaborative mindset as your daily interactions will include working with our customers and with many people in various departments within our organization in a team based environment. Superb oral and written and telephone skills are a must, and we require proficiency utilizing computer systems, including MS Outlook, Excel and Word. 3-5 years of previous professional, corporate collections experience, and bilingual (English/Spanish) capabilities is a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
