Service Desk Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join the team that serves as the first point of contact for the Information Technology department. This person will provide technical support for various IT Systems. Excellent customer service skills are a priority. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate both customer service and technical skills.

Responsibilities:
You will play a key role in ensuring excellence of service to internal users. You will be handling IT technical support covering desktops, laptops, mobile devices, network, printers, and a variety of Corporate and facility applications. Your role will also be very visible as you will be working directly with all levels of the organization.
Receive and log all inbound calls, emails, and walk-in support requests
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and requests for support.
Identify and report to IT Manager recurring incidents to spot trends and potential problem sources.
Build and Deploy Workstations
Desktop Application Installations
Able to provide usage support to software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Provides positive customer experience with each customer interaction
Skills Required:
Customer service focused, enjoys helping people
Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
Has the desire and ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies and applications
Basic working knowledge of networking concepts: DNS, DHCP, VLans, NTP, TCP/IP, FTP, Firewalls.
Knowledge of Windows and major desktop applications: Office Suites, Adobe products, etc.
Ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to follow process and procedure
Ability to provide 24/7 on call support on a rotating basis
Qualifications
Experience/Schooling or Degree Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, another related field preferred

years of experience working in a corporate environment supporting Microsoft technologies
IT Training and Certifications: A+, Network +, Microsoft, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
