We have an immediate opening in our South Jordan, UT office for the position of Operations Specialist Equipment.
In the Operations Specialist position, the successful candidate will work on a team that is responsible for container depot vendor management, managing dry and refrigerated container equipment inventories, as well as equipment release to meet export booking and empty re-positioning requirements. The successful candidate will monitor equipment inventories, export booking requirements, coordinate re-positioning of equipment, trace and resolve equipment return, monitor equipment at location to reduce dwell time and reconcile equipment inventories between OOCL systems and our vendor records.
We seek candidates wanting to learn international business, who enjoy working with equipment and are focused on costs and the coordination of equipment flow to support business needs. The ideal candidates are self-motivated, innovative, and skilled in planning and prioritizing. We require strong communication skills (oral and written), and must be highly effective utilizing computer technology, including MS Excel and Word.
