DUTIES: Design, develop, implement, integrate and maintain software product components that operate in a network environment using Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, MVC, Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, XML, CSS, XPATH, XSLT, JavaScript and WCF Service oriented architecture. Work on the development of various functional and data services based on WCF Services developed in house utilizing N tier and agile methodologies like Scrum. Research and propose ideas to improve the current code and code optimization, modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Develop software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Work with IT Analysts, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, development tasks, performance requirements and interfaces. Analyze and research on software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and various standard Design Patterns. Knowledge of database design and object relational mapping. Analyze and Troubleshoot complex software applications utilizing software diagnostic skills and hardware setup, data analysis, networking and operating system configuration. Research technical problems discovered by Quality Assurance analyst or product support, and provide solutions. Prepare critical technical documentation. Participate and lead technical designs and code reviews.
REQUIRES: Master's Degree in Computer Science. 6 months experience as Software Engineer to include experience in Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, ASP.NET, C#, LINQ, MVC, Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, HTML, XML, CSS, XPATH, XSLT, JavaScript and WCF Service oriented architecture. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of scientific analysis, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and various standard Design Patterns.
