We are seeking a Safety Specialist to support both a corporate and manufacturing environment. The safety specialist recognizes, evaluates, and controls safety and health hazards and works with internal departments in multiple facilities to minimize occupational health and safety risks and manage compliance with applicable regulations.
Job Duties:
Audits OSHA and other safety related programs.
Conducts comprehensive safety and hygiene audits.
Administers Respiratory Protection Program and other safety related programs.
Assist with Workers Compensation.
Assist with fire safety program.
Creates and implements safety policies and procedures.
Conducts incident investigations and works with departments to correct safety hazards and develop preventative procedures.
Performs job hazard assessments and recommends measures to control exposures, including substitution of less hazardous materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), work practice changes and engineering controls.
Prepares and conducts training classes.
Skills Required:
Training skills
Communication skills
Work well in a team setting
Experience/Schooling or Degree Required:
Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health and/or 3
years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment
CPR and First Aid training
EMT preferred
Environmental experience preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
