Cognitive Tutor Education, Training & Library - South Jordan, UT at Geebo

Cognitive Tutor

Overview:
A wide range of studies confirm that 80% of learning difficulties cannot be corrected with traditional, supplemental tutoring and instruction. Instead, these struggles require improved skills at the cognitive level of the brain that are often the actual cause of the problem.
Cognitive skills are not reading, writing, and math, but rather the underlying mental abilities required for long-term success in those subjects. In fact, cognitive skills that Early Life assesses for via the Cognitive Assessment System (Planning, Attention, Simultaneous Processing and Successive ProcessingPASS) are the foundations for success throughout a person's life.
Unique to the State of Utah, Early Life Cognitive Tutor/Academic Trackers are specifically trained to integrate the cognitive testing results from our assessments, and devise individualized tutorial services in order to help students make significant progress in their studies and cognitive processes.
In addition, our tutors assist parents by taking the organizational load of tracking homework assignments and school progess off busy parents' schedules.
