Position Overview
Manufacturing Manager to oversee the production of an off-site facility in Salt Lake City. Responsible for the overall daily management and production execution of this facility. A great manager with a passion to drive a team to achieve results.
Primary Responsibilities
Manages production teams that consists of day, swing, and graveyard shifts. This includes Line Leads, Area Leads, Line Technicians, Machine Operators, and Line Workers.
Manages the daily operation of manufacturing and works directly with other supporting departments such as product development, warehouse, quality, etc.
Uses Continuous Improvement methodologies aligned with the company strategy to drive and improve daily operations.
Responsible for ensuring all employees receive adequate training. Assesses training needs and assists in executing or arranging training.
Interfaces with department/customers on a daily basis.
Conducts the cross-functional daily standup meeting.
Monitors OEE and works with the technical team to ensure downtime is being addressed on a daily basis.
Ensures compliance with OSHA and safety standards.
Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators. Reports KPIs to senior management team on a daily basis.
Ensures all teams in manufacturing are compliant with GMPs and consistently monitors documentation.
Assists in developing technical manufacturing processes.

Ability to balance big picture thinking and attention to detail.
An understanding of quality systems
Verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen .
Microsoft Office skills.
Any experience in filling/packaging processes and/or equipment a plus.
