Administrative Assistant

South Jordan Law Firm is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. The position is full time and required hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job responsibilities include:
- Reading and sorting of letters and email.
- Data entry of information received, and updating files to ensure correct dispositions.
- Returning information requests via letter and email.
- Scanning and indexing documents.
- Processing and delivering reports.
- Accepting payments.
Skill Requirements:
- Efficient typing skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft WORD and Excel.
- Ability to effectively summarize information
- Effective time and organizational skills
- Multi-tasker
You must be able to work well with others and perform your tasks with speed and accuracy. Flexibility and attention to detail is crucial. You will be working with sensitive information and will be required to maintain certain levels of confidentiality.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
