Machine Shop Clerk

We are seeking a Machine Shop Coordinator to support our machine shop team.
Job Duties:
Scheduling & tracking work for the machine shop and mold maintenance shop
Assist in sourcing decisions (make/buy) for machined work
Obtain outside quotes for machined parts in support of R&D design and Manufacturing Engineering departments
Ensure that all purchased parts are charged to the correct project or capital numbers
Work with supply chain to insure timely delivery of purchased parts
Create and track purchase orders in Oracle for machined parts & shop supplies.
Maintain a stock of raw materials (stainless steels, aluminum, titanium, plastics and composites to support tooling & R&D
Maintain necessary levels for shop supplies (cutting oil, cutting tools, shop rags, shop coats, mold maintenance supplies, etc.)
Read and understand blueprints
Coordinates outside machine maintenance requirements for repairs and annual PM's.
Coordinate shipping, packages and ships molds and tooling to vendors for repair.
Skills Required:
Oracle buyer experience is preferred
Intermediate level experience in MS Word and Excel
Inventory control and planning
Ability to speak, read and write English preferred
Experience/Schooling or Degree Required:
1-2 years work related experience
Working knowledge of machine shop operations is preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
