Service Manager

Utah Water Sports - Utah's exclusive Mastercraft dealer - has an immediate opening for a Service Manager. We are looking for experienced, motivated, energetic, qualified candidates who are detail and quality oriented who want more than just a job. Prior service manager or writer experience is required. Prior boating experience is preferred.
We are looking for a member of our management staff who can contribute to the overall financial health of the company. The right candidate will receive a base pay and generous monthly performance based bonus. This is a great opportunity for a Service Manager or Writer who is looking for a position where they can make a difference by successfully managing a proven team.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers and act a liaison between company and customer.
Understand customer's needs and expectations and delivering on them.
Manage a service team of 4 technicians and several yard and detail personnel.
Manage new boat deliveries.
Manage all aspect of warranty.
Generate new work estimates as required
Identify business growth opportunities and work with management to deliver on them.
Generate work orders and coordinate work schedule with staff.
Review and edit work order billing pro formas for invoicing.
Project Manager of large projects.
Delivering on projects meeting personal and company financial objectives.
General service assistance for boat shows and other marketing events.
Highly motivated, self-starter, organized and able to multi-task.
Exceptional customer service skills with past experience.
Minimum of 3 years Service Manager or Writer experience, boat experience preferred.
Experience estimating repairs, hours and costs.
Works well individually without minimal direction and as a team member.
Computer skills a must and willingness to learn new software applications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
