Full time position.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of medical malpractice paralegal experience to be considered Duties Intake:
talking to potential clients and gathering the facts of their situation Prepare case files to discuss with attorneys Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and position statements Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases Organize and maintain legal files, documents, and correspondence Inputting file data into Filevine case management program Prepare and File legal documents with the court system Schedule appointments, meetings, and court appearances for attorneys Scheduling depositions Prepare and update case status reports for attorneys Requirements Proven experience as a paralegal Knowledge of legal and medical terminology and legal procedures Proficient in conducting legal research using Westlaw or similar databases Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with medical malpractice file procedure and UT court procedure Note:
